Jesus invites you, “Come, follow me.”
As you answer His call to come out, the world won’t understand. Jesus warned that even your family may reject you. Through the ages Christ’s followers have been imprisoned, tortured and fed to the lions. Don’t be surprised if it happens to you.
If ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation (behavior) in Christ. 1 Peter 3:14-16
The Kingdom is only a decision away. You will not walk alone, for Christ Himself will live in you and be your Guide.
Jesus said, “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” John 14:23
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
